Get to Negombo when you arrive in Sri Lanka. Proceed to explore Negombo after you have checked into your hotel. Watch the sunset on the beach to cap off the day.
On the second day, travel to Anuradhapura. Learn about the city’s lengthy history as Sri Lanka’s capital by riding a bicycle through this ancient city. You will learn about the history of this city that has reigned for over 2000 years.

The fourth day begins with an exploration of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. As you climb this fortress you will see magnificent frescoes that adorn the rocky walls. After that head to Kandy. On the fifth day visit the Knuckles Mountain Range for the day. As you walk along the verdant paths with breathtaking flora and fauna take in its breathtaking beauty. Head back to Kandy to spend the night at your hotel.
Leave Kandy for Nuwara Eliya on day six. Your trip to your destination should include stops at Ramboda Waterfall. When you arrive, spend some time relaxing at your hotel. The next destination takes you to the tea hills where you can see the tea factories and participate in a tea-picking activity.
Early in the morning guests are welcomed to Horton Plains National Park. You will come across a variety of wildlife as you make your way to Worlds End such as elk, hares and porcupines. Visitors should witness the remarkable cliff rock formations in order to appreciate their exceptional beauty.
On day eight, take the train from Nanu Oya to Ella in order to get to Udawalawe. Because it displays all of Sri Lanka’s natural beauty, many tourists find this train ride to be extraordinary. Before departing, snap pictures at Ravana Waterfalls. Look for lodging once you get to Udawalawe.
